Again, it’s been a while. And its been a quite a while since I picked up my Nikon for fun. I finished up my Wright’s Farm gig, finished up the wedding photos. Well, I still have to edit the photos from Wright’s. But I need a little break right? A break for socializing and a break from my brain. I’ve been on serious overload since last month with so much work to do at work and so much work out side of work. Does that make sense? Anyway. I thought I’d inject my blog entry with an excerpt from a fellow Blogger that kinda sums up my last month as well as hers,

-”this month i’ve come to a place where i’m learning to feel. and just be ok with that. not have to know what to do with those feelings. i’ve learned that people often show you parts of themselves that they chastise in others, and don’t even know it. that sometimes, true friends (or what you thought were) have the ability to hurt you the most. that some people will think what they want about me, whether or not it’s true, well, when most likely it’s absolutely not. that i love my alone time more than ever…..mostly that i’m okay. i love, and hurt, and feel, and exclaim, and rest, and contemplate, and listen to my inner voice, and am. and that it’s all okay.” -Steph Dub

I thought that was brilliant. I’ve met people whom I could never in a million years think of my life without, and I’ve met people whom I’ve realized I can live without and I’m better without. I love my friends. I hate “the game”. I’ve learned to not overthink. I’ve learned to just let it be.

I will get back to photographing and more documenting. Since my last post, I aged to 23, I was offered and took a job as a photographer’s second shoot for the spring, I met someone new and intriguing, I’ve photographed a dog show and sunrise to sunset and holidays, and i’ve discovered new music. I’ve been snowed in with 14 inches outside. I’ve talked everything out instead of holding it in. And finally, a close friend lost their mother and something so tragic can only teach us to appreciate everything and each other.

2010 is only 11 days away.

This photograph is from a car show from the summer and I love this dog. I love snow, but who doesn’t love breezy summer weather.

photos from the dog show are on my flickr

I’ll leave you with lyrics from the greatest..

The Beatles [check out the new re-mastered Abbey Road]

“Little darling, I feel that ice is slowly melting
Little darling, it seems like years since it’s been clear
Here comes the sun”
